Tanara 1/2 sized guitars are built for very young beginning students or as a great back pack guitar. Generally, a 1/2 sized guitar would be appropriate for players between the ages of 5- 8 years old who are between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet tall. Half sized guitars travel well in-hand, in a back pack, and in small cars.
