The Flinthill FHD-100S resophonic guitar features the square neck and raised string action preferred by Bluegrass, Blues and Hawaiian style players. The huge, resonant and powerful tone is the result of the traditional design that incorporates a wooden soundwell, a cast-aluminum spider-bridge and a spun-aluminum resonator cone. The square neck and the body are of select Mahogany finished in a rich brown, while the spruce top is finished in a vintage sunburst.

The high-gloss finish of the FHD 100S is complemented by the shiny chrome finish of the metal parts. The peghead is of the traditional slotted-type, where the tuning machine buttons are placed vertically to allow the greatest ease of tuning.
